CSNHC’s LVN to RN Bridge Program
At Creative Solutions in Healthcare, we understand the importance of professional growth and are committed to supporting our team in reaching their career goals. One example of this is our LVN to RN Bridge Program, which empowers Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to take their career to the next level by becoming a Registered Nurse (RN).
This program, with its benefits and incentives, can help nurses find new opportunities and reach their full potential.
About the Program
The LVN to RN Bridge Program is an education assistance program that gives eligible LVNs assistance and support for tuition fees, study materials, and exam preparation.
Participation Requirements
To participate in the LVN to RN Bridge Program, there are a few requirements for all applicants. This includes being employed as an LVN at a Creative Solutions in Healthcare facility for at least 1 full year, working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Along with the employment requirements, LVNs also have to show their commitment to pursuing further education to become an RN. This means that they are responsible for finding and enrolling in the school or coursework.
Assistance
The goal of this program is to make completing the coursework and becoming an RN more manageable for current LVNs. To help full time employees (LVNs currently working 30 or more hours weekly) get the most out of their RN education, those actively in Nursing School may decrease their work hours to 24 hours per week during the semester. This gives the student-employee more time and opportunity to complete coursework, study, and attend classes without losing any of their full-time benefits.
Creative Solutions in Healthcare also offers tuition reimbursement, which can be combined with the benefits of the LVN to RN Bridge Program. The reimbursement program offers monetary assistance that may be used to off-set costs incurred while seeking continued education from an accredited college or university.
Tuition Reimbursement repays the employee for tuition, related supplies required by the training/class, or payments on the student loans that funded the class. Tuition Reimbursement cannot be approved for student loans or payment agreement plans that have not yet been paid on by the employee.

Retention Bonuses
As an incentive to complete this program, there are two bonuses available at different points throughout this process. The first bonus is offered at the completion of coursework. Upon presentation of an RN license and an agreement to work at a Creative Solutions facility for an additional 12 months, graduates are eligible to receive $5,000.
The second $5,000 bonus is awarded after the completion of their first year of work as an RN with a commitment to another 12 months as an RN at the facility. In short, after receiving an RN license and completing 2 years of employment as an RN, employees can earn up to $10,000 in total bonuses.
Earning these benefits and receiving all possible bonuses is contingent upon several factors. First, LVNs must maintain a B average in all Nursing School courses. Students also cannot have any history of disciplinary reports or poor attendance while enrolled.
Enrolling in the Program
To join the LVN to RN Bridge Program, current employees must first enroll in their Nursing School of choice, independently. Once enrolled and signed up for all required coursework through the school, they can apply for tuition assistance and join the program by emailing Benefits@csnhc.com. At the time of enrollment, a letter of recommendation from both their current Administrator and Supervisor must be provided.
Career Progression
Our LVN to RN Bridge Program not only opens doors to becoming a RN, but also paves the way for career opportunities within our organization. For example, upon earning an RN license, one may start as a Charge Nurse, utilizing their skills and knowledge to lead nursing teams and coordinate patient care. From there, they can progress to roles like Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and then Director of Nursing (DON), where they will oversee clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
For those interested in advancing more, there is also a path to becoming a Regional Compliance Nurse, where they will play an important role in ensuring compliance and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality of care. With a clear path for growth, our program empowers new RNs to continue building their career and reach new goals.
Our LVN to RN Bridge Program is just one of several ways we encourage our team to take on new challenges to grow their careers. With the incentives, support, and resources offered by this program, Creative Solutions aims to make the process of earning an RN license more accessible and within reach.
