Creative Solutions in Healthcare Invests in AI Innovation
and Advanced Employee Education

Dedicated internal AI team develops technology solutions around real-world healthcare operations as employees pursue advanced training through Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Fort Worth, Texas November 5th, 2026 —Creative Solutions in Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest skilled nursing providers, is investing in the future of healthcare technology through a dedicated artificial intelligence department focused on developing practical solutions for the company’s operations.

Unlike traditional technology initiatives that rely exclusively on externally developed software, Creative Solutions has established an internal team responsible for identifying opportunities, developing custom automations, and working directly with operational leaders to implement AI-powered solutions.

The approach reflects a fundamental belief within the organization: the people closest to a problem are often the best equipped to help solve it.

“Our facilities and support teams understand the challenges of their work better than anyone,” said Gary Blake, CEO and President of Creative Solutions in Healthcare “Our goal is to give those individuals the tools, resources, and support to turn their ideas into solutions that make a meaningful difference.”

Investing in the People Behind the Technology

As part of the company’s commitment to continued innovation, two members of its AI department are pursuing advanced artificial intelligence certifications through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Two leaders in our AI department, Grant Weitzer and Grayson Blake, recently visited MIT’s campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, marking a milestone in their professional development and the organization’s investment in specialized AI education.

The training will help strengthen the team’s technical expertise as it continues to evaluate emerging technologies, develop internal applications, and support responsible AI adoption across the organization.

For Creative Solutions, investing in employee education is an essential component of its long-term technology strategy.

Building Solutions Around Healthcare Operations

Creative Solutions operates skilled nursing and assisted living communities throughout Texas, where employees navigate complex administrative, clinical, and operational workflows.

Rather than treating technology as a one-size-fits-all solution, the AI department works to understand the specific needs of these teams and determine where automation, custom applications, or existing AI technologies can provide meaningful support.

Depending on the challenge, the team may develop a solution internally collaborating with subject matter experts or technology partners to implement the most effective approach.

This work also extends beyond the AI department itself. By helping employees develop the knowledge and confidence to identify opportunities for improvement, Creative Solutions is building an organizational culture in which innovation can originate from any department.

“Technology is most valuable when it responds to a real need,” continued Blake. “We’re not interested in implementing AI simply because it’s new. We’re interested in what it can help our people accomplish.”

The investment represents a continued commitment to strengthening operations, supporting employees, and exploring technology that can ultimately benefit the residents and families served by Creative Solutions communities.
