Brian Martin Honored with the 2026 Gary Blake Award
Creative Solutions in Healthcare is proud to recognize Brian Martin, Vice President of Plant Operations, as the recipient of the 2026 Gary Blake Award, one of the highest honors presented within all of Creative Solutions.
The Gary Blake Award recognizes a leader who makes a lasting difference throughout Creative Solutions in Healthcare. It honors someone whose actions strengthen the organization, inspire others, and reflect the values on which our company was built.
Since joining Creative Solutions in September 2023, Brian has made an extraordinary impact. Through his leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence, he has strengthened operations, elevated expectations, and created meaningful improvements across our facilities.
Brian oversees physical plant operations and environmental services across all of Creative, including maintenance, construction, life safety, emergency preparedness, and our White Glove Program. Each of these areas has a direct effect on the safety, comfort, and daily experience of our residents, families, and employees.
Under Brian’s leadership, these departments have become more connected, consistent, and accountable. He brings structure to complex challenges, establishes clear expectations, and follows through until results are achieved.
In March 2026, Environmental Services, Laundry, and the White Glove Program were aligned under Brian’s leadership. Since that transition, White Glove performance has improved across the organization, with several facilities achieving their highest scores to date.
These accomplishments are visible throughout our buildings.
They can be seen in cleaner resident rooms, safer environments, better-maintained facilities, stronger teams, and a greater sense of teamwork & pride among employees. Brian understands that every detail matters and that the appearance and condition of a building reflect the quality of care provided inside it.
Brian also oversees Power LTC, a sister company of Creative Solutions that provides preventative maintenance and specialized support to our facilities. Power LTC assists with generator maintenance and repairs, parking lot striping, infrastructure improvements, and other projects that help prevent disruptions and protect the long-term condition of our buildings.
Through Brian’s leadership, Power LTC has become an increasingly valuable resource for our facilities. His focus on preventative maintenance allows teams to identify concerns early, reduce costly emergencies, and keep critical systems operating safely and reliably.
Brian’s extensive background in emergency management has also been invaluable to Creative Solutions. During challenging situations, Brian remains calm, identifies priorities, develops a plan, and gives teams the confidence and direction needed to move forward.
His leadership has strengthened emergency preparedness and operational readiness across the company.

Brian’s expertise is supported by an impressive academic and professional foundation. He earned an Associate of Applied Science in Disaster Preparedness from the Community College of the Air Force in 2007, a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Planning from the University of North Texas in 2009, and a Master of Public Administration from Argosy University in 2014.
Brian’s accomplishments, education, and experience are remarkable. His character and daily example make his impact even greater.
He sees opportunities for improvement and acts. He holds himself and others accountable. He gives his teams the structure, tools, and support they need to succeed. He approaches each responsibility with humility, determination, and a deep sense of service.
