Creative Solutions in Healthcare Promotes Kevin Hinkle to Director of QIPP

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is excited to announce the promotion of Kevin Hinkle to Director of QIPP, effective January 1. Kevin brings years of hands-on experience, steady leadership growth, and a deep commitment to supporting strong resident care across Creative Solutions.

Kevin’s journey in long-term care began as an LVN Charge Nurse, where he discovered a deep commitment to caring for the seniors. That passion led him into leadership roles, including Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing. He joined the Creative Solutions in Healthcare family as the Director of Nursing at Granbury Care Center in January 2020. From there, Kevin continued to grow, taking on the role of Regional Compliance Nurse in 2022, where he educated and mentored DONs across the organization and supported facilities through complex regulatory challenges. His facility’s excellent survey outcomes led to his promotion in July 2024 to become Director of Quality. Concentrating on QIPP and QAPI, this role allowed him to utilize his clinical background and analytical mindset to improve resident outcomes across the company.

Throughout his career at Creative, Kevin has made a measurable impact. He has been instrumental in simplifying and strengthening the QAPI process. He worked to implement QAPI supporting documentation through Microsoft Forms, creating a more streamlined and consistent approach that ensured compliance while significantly reducing the documentation burden on facilities. Since the rollout in December 2024, the organization has not had a single month below 100% compliance. He also helped transition Performance Improvement Plans to a fully online process through PCC InSights, improving visibility, accountability, and ease of use for teams across Creative.

In his new role as Director of QIPP, Kevin will oversee both the QIPP and QAPI programs, with a focus on refining existing processes and developing new strategies. His goal is to ensure Creative Solutions continues to maximize QIPP revenue, while maintaining the high standards of care our residents receive every day. His role will serve as a bridge between Clinical Compliance and Reimbursement, strengthening collaboration across both teams. Kevin will also work closely with our hospital partners to enhance relationships and drive continued success with our NSGO facilities. Outside of work, Kevin is a devoted husband and father who credits his family as his biggest supporters. He shared,
