Creative Solutions in Healthcare is proud to announce the promotion of Emily Blake to Director of Voices of Care

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is proud to announce the promotion of Emily Blake to Director of Voices of Care. As the visionary behind the program, she created in partnership with CEO Gary Blake, Emily has already made a lasting impact on our culture, and this promotion reflects both her leadership and the confidence we have in her ability to guide one of our most meaningful organizational initiatives.
Gary Blake, our CEO and President shared his confidence in Emily’s leadership saying, Emily has a unique ability to listen, connect, and turn ideas into meaningful action. Voices of Care is a reflection of her heart for our employees. She has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity, and a genuine commitment to the people who make Creative special. Voices of Care exists because she believed our best ideas lived with the team members that work closest to our residents and our daily operations. She had the vision and the heart to build something that gave them a seat at the table. Watching her grow within our organization has been a privilege, and I have complete confidence in her ability to lead this program forward and continue strengthening our culture. She has helped create a program that gives our facility teams a real voice, and I am incredibly proud to see her continue leading this work.

Emily’s story with Creative began long before this new title. At just 16 years old, she started working in the file room, learning the organization from the ground up. What began as an early introduction to the company grew into a career shaped by curiosity, hard work, and a genuine love for the people and purpose behind long-term care.

After leaving for college, Emily returned to Creative and joined the Accounts Payable Department, where she gained a strong foundation in the operational side of healthcare. From there, she continued building her knowledge through roles in Medicaid Billing and HMO Billing, developing a deep understanding of claims management, reimbursement systems, auditing, cash flow, and the many ‘behind-the-scenes’ processes that support facility success.

Emily often describes billing as “the balancing act,” a role that requires precision, time management, collaboration, and constant problem-solving. Her experience in those departments gave her a lasting respect for the teams whose work keeps operations moving forward each day.

As her career continued to grow, Emily joined the QIPP Team, where she supported quality improvement initiatives, reporting measures, operational compliance, and communication efforts across the organization. Working alongside leaders focused on improvement, accountability, and outcomes helped further shape her leadership style and strengthened her understanding of how every department plays a role in Creative’s success.

Throughout each step of her career, Emily became known for her adaptability, emotional intelligence, strong relationships, and willingness to learn. This ultimately helped inspire Voices of Care, a program Emily envisioned and created in partnership with Gary Blake.

Voices of Care identifies high-performing facility team members from every department across Creative’s 178 care options. These team members are invited to Fort Worth to share honest feedback, ideas, and insights directly with company leadership. Their conversations touch every part of the organization, from operational improvements and communication to employee experience, workplace culture, and new ways to better support residents and staff.

The program is built around a simple, but powerful, belief: the people closest to the work often have the clearest ideas for how to make it better.

As Director of Voices of Care, Emily will continue leading and expanding the program, creating meaningful opportunities for frontline team members, facility leaders, and corporate teams to connect in a more open and intentional way. Her work will focus on strengthening communication, improving collaboration, supporting retention, and helping build a culture where employees feel heard, valued, supported, and empowered to contribute.

Reflecting on her promotion, Emily shared:

I feel incredibly honored, grateful, and motivated stepping into this role. Having grown within Creative from such a young age, this promotion represents so much more than a title to me. It reflects years of learning, growth, relationships, and the trust that leaders and teams across the organization have placed in me along the way. What excites me most is the opportunity to continue building meaningful connections with our employees and facilities while helping create positive, lasting change throughout the organization. Voices of Care represents something deeply important to me: ensuring people feel heard, valued, supported, and empowered to speak openly about both challenges and successes.”

Emily’s journey reflects the heart of Creative Solutions in Healthcare: growth from within, leadership through service, and a continued commitment to listening to the people who make our organization stronger.
