Creative Solutions in Healthcare Appoints Vice President of Goverment Affairs and Communications
Effective October 1, Leila Jones has been appointed Vice President of Government Affairs and Communications at Creative Solutions in Healthcare.
CEO Gary Blake shared, “This promotion reflects the continued growth of Creative Solutions in Healthcare and our commitment to strengthening relationships at every level- within our company & communities, across the state, and nationally. Leila has been instrumental in shaping our communications strategy, and expanding her role to include government affairs ensures we are well-positioned to advocate for long-term care and for the people we serve.”
Leila’s journey into long-term care began in 2018, when she joined Creative Solutions in Healthcare as Director of Social Media. In that role, she helped establish the online presence for, then, 56 facilities, and built stronger connections between our communities, families, and facilities.
In 2020, Leila was promoted to Vice President of Communications. She led Creative’s crisis communications, ensuring residents, families, and employees were informed, supported, and united during one of the most challenging seasons in long-term care.
Under her leadership, the communications department has expanded significantly, creating systems that strengthen facility marketing, support referral growth, and enhance communication and clarity across the organization.
Throughout this time, she’s also taken the lead in connecting our leadership teams with lawmakers in Austin, ensuring the voices of long-term care providers are heard. Her efforts have helped shape conversations around the policies that affect our residents, our staff, and the future of seniors in Texas.
In this new role, Leila will expand her focus to include government affairs on both the state and national level, while also leading facilities in their efforts to strengthen relationships with hospital CEOs, community leaders, and local officials. She will work to bridge communications, advocacy, and community engagement and to continue advancing Creative’s mission.
